Hard work, Self discipline and dedication have made me what I am today!

After completing my Sports Science degree in South Africa and Qualifying as a Reebok  fitness trainer I became a professional athlete. I have played international rugby union from school boy level up to playing international sevens for South Africa, taking part in the World Games in Akita Japan and the Commonwealth Games in Manchester. In 2001 I was voted South African  sevens player of the year. During this time I was part of the very challenging Southern Hemisphere competition playing Super Rugby. I have had the privilege to be trained by some of the best strength and conditioning trainers in the world today like Prof. Derek Coetzee, strength and conditioning coach of the World Cup winning South African team in 2007.

From my vast experience over the years as a professional athlete I have learned how to motivate myself and those around me. These skills are essential in order to achieve arch clients specific needs. My role at Pure Fitness as Director/Manager and trainer is to encourage a feeling of well being, self respect and confidence in all members.

What keeps me going is having a goal. I know you have one.
